How does Genuine Care work?
As thorough, effective rehabilitation requires more than just a weekly
(sometimes impersonal) “office visit,” I provide personalized, one-to-one
contact with my clients in their homes and in the community, often for several
hours at a time, or multiple days a week. I work closely with their psychiatrist to
help carry out treatment plans by setting goals, role playing, using in vivo skills,
and introducing my clients to growth-friendly environments. I provide
structured, dependable guidance and direction to all of my clients, and I
maintain consistent communication with family members, doctors, therapists,
and other healthcare professionals. I encourage and assist my clients to
develop personal goals, and provide the opportunity for them to acquire the
necessary skills to achieve these goals. I also coach clients to learn and
practice these skills independently so they may enjoy personal growth and
improve the quality of their lives.
What are the benefits?
Engaging in therapeutic rehabilitation can lead to improved self-confidence,
increased motivation, enhanced self-image, and superior study and work
habits, relationships, and career choices. More confidence and less fear--all
while receiving unconditional support and encouragement.
